Haha, I laughed out loud when I first read this post. I believe many animals do have a sense of humor, I know it. I worked with horses for a time, and I can guarantee that whenever I did something stupid or clumsy, the horses were laughing. They give you a look, or toss their heads, or something to let you know you're being an idiot.

We also had a horse who would snap your bra strap if you had your back turned to him, and I know he did it because it got everyone laughing. If that's not a sense of humor, I don't know what is.
